A few days ago we had a special booking: we were asked to visit the flock of Estac and Casa Mateu dairy. They saw in our web the proposal of Flavours of mountain and they were interested!
We entered the farm and wandered about sheep and goats. They explained how they are organized, how they eat, how to separate them out to graze, as the join them when they return … At noon climb up the mountain, every day a different route, and do not return until evening. Every day and despite the weather, tehy go out. It’s a hard work. That is why we consider interesting to show it!
In the afternoon, the tour continued to Dairy Casa Mateu, where they learned the secrets of the production of artisan sheep cheese and yogurt.
