10th anniversary of Casa Massa

6 January 2018 / / No Comments

In May 2018 it will be 10 years since we opened Casa Massa. During all this time we have learned a lot of things. We have seen how some longings came true and how others stayed on the road. In Estac we have found the starry sky and silence. We have assimilated the rhythm of Pallars and we have recovered the seasons of the year, which merge into a timeless continuum in the city. But above all we have learned from people. For ten years we have been lucky to live with very different people. A time that has been fascinating and very enriching.
This last year Casa Massa has changed again, to get a new boost. We are excited again and we want that the treatment with our guests continues being our strength. To celebrate this special anniversary with you, we will launch a monthly offer throughout 2018. We invite you to follow us on the social media to stay up to date with the promotions. We started the month of January with a 10% discount on the gift voucher.
We sincerely hope that the next ten years Casa Massa will continue to be a pleasant space for meeting, nature, sharing and, above all, happiness.

As you know, for 22 and 23 July we have prepared a course of night photography with Oscar Castelao.

If you want to see his hobbies and what you can learn, here is an interesting article on how to locate Polaris in a starry sky.

We open again!

6 March 2017 / / No Comments

Hello again!

This holy week we re-open Casa Massa. We return with changes: we will rent the whole house, not rooms.

Some vital changes have led us to live in Sort and we want to continue offering the charms of town of Estac to our customers. We will continue to share our mountain lifestyle, while leaving more space.

We will be waiting to offer you all the information and services you need, before arriving and during your stay. We hope you are delighted!

Postcards of our area

Our favourite photographer, Oscar Castelao, is working for weeks walking around the little the villages of Pallars Sobirà and Jussà, taking beautiful pictures.

Postal de Burgo envoltat d'arbres a la tardor

As you know, he loves our environment and nature. This time he has captured the bucolic villages in the format of the old postcards that we bought when we were young.

Postal d'Estac a l'entrada al poble amb el fons emboirat

Now that all of us try to take pictures with the phone, we can recover traditional postcards . With instagram we can try, but I do not if we get it …;)

Here is a little sample of the postcards available for you.
